The Schuyler Heights Fire Department is 100% volunteer, non-profit organization. At present the Schuyler Heights Fire Department responds to approximately 500 fire, rescue and medical calls per year. Through the use of excellent training, proven tactics and technology the Schuyler Heights Fire District are provided with the highest level of professional and effective protection.
The department is led by a Chief and two Assistant Chiefs and is made up of many dedicated men and women who come from a variety of backgrounds. As well as responding to a myriad of fire, rescue and EMS calls 24/7 the firefighters and EMT's of the department actively train once a week and hold a monthly meeting. With the assistance of its social members the Department holds a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the year.
The Schuyler Heights Fire Department is always looking for new members to help serve the community.
